Misty Ann Kubik Green

AUSTINTOWN - Misty Ann Kubik Green, 37, passed away Thursday morning, Nov. 5, 2015, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, following an extended illness.

Misty was born May 23, 1978, in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Edward H. and Linda L. Stash Kubik, and came to Youngstown as a child.

She was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, and attended nursing school. Misty worked at Select Specialty Hospital in Youngstown, and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Misty leaves her husband, Mark F. Green, whom she married Sept. 18, 2013; four children, Tyler J. Surrena, Taylor Lee Kubik, Trevor M. Kubik, and Paige K. Green, all of Austintown; her parents, Edward and Linda of Austintown; two brothers, Edward M. (Philomena) Kubik of McDonald and David J. (Stephanie) Kubik of Youngstown, her father-in-law, Austin Green of Austintown; two nieces, Victoria Emanuel and Danae Kempe; and many extended family members.

Her mother-in-law, Jacqueline Green, passed away the day before Misty.

Family and friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where funeral services will follow at 3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Misty’s family requests that memorial contributions be made to help with her final expenses.
