Patricia Irene Coles Johnson
April 13, 1925 ~ August 19, 2017 (age 92) 92 Years OldYOUNGSTOWN - Patricia Irene Coles Johnson, 92, passed away peacefully late Monday morning, Aug. 14, 2017, at Omni Manor Care Center with her family by her side.
Patricia was born April 13, 1925, in London, England, a daughter of the late Frank and Ida Patterson Coles. She was educated in England, and came to America with her new husband, Homer Johnson, after World War II as a “war bride” aboard the Princess Margaret. The couple settled in Huntington, W.Va., and after her husband’s death, she came to Youngstown in 2008 from Yuma, Arizona to be near her daughter and family.
Mrs. Johnson attended Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Youngstown, and attended its social functions.
Patricia leaves her daughter, Deborah (Rev. John) Harvey, with whom she made her home; her son, Michael R. Johnson of Washington State; and three grandchildren, Geoffrey, Jennifer, and Irena.
Family and friends may gather from noon to 1 p.m.. Tuesday, Aug. 22, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a memorial service will take place at 1 p.m., officiated by her son-in-law, Rev. Harvey.
Patricia’s family offers special thanks to the staff at Omni Manor for the kindness shown and care given to Mrs. Johnson and her family during her stay.
