Jordan was one of the kindest kids I ever had the pleasure of meeting. I met this young man back in 2006 at Juvenile Court and I was a probation officer. This young / athletic kid told me he wanted to get into boxing and be a champion. I then trained this kid, who had the heart of a champion for the K.O. Drugs Boxing Tournament and he went undefeated all four years. You truly touched so many lives Jordan and your passing has left a tremendous void in my, as well as your family and friends lives. Thank you for having blessed my life with your friendship while you were here. May God bless and strengthen your mother and family.
~Never stop punching kid, you will forever be a champion !

Dear family. Please accept my sincere condolences. The painful sting of death can be overwhelming, especially when it takes our beloved children! Please know that "God is near to the brokenhearted and those crushed in spirit"(Psalms 34:18-19) Soon Jehovah God and his son, Jesus Christ will provide you permanent comfort when "All those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out to ...a resurrection of life."(John 5:29-29) You can see Jordan again! Please watch the comforting 1 min video "Is There Hope For The Dead?" on jw.org. May God wipe away your tears!

From a former drug addict...I did not know you but I knew your pain. May the Lord carry your family through this time and may your lost battle be not in vain. Help it to wake and/or save another addict that feels hopeless. God bless your family for speaking out. Not many do today and many families and addicts need this awareness. I share no matter where I go... Our story can touch another addict or a family member that loses hope so I share wherever I go. I was ashamed once and no more! God bless your family Jordan...you may have lost the battle honey, but I will remain here and fight the war!

Jordan... You were one amazing Old Soul...
We meant from out of no where from 2 sides of the track... And you treated us no different...
You had a smile that could make the cloudiest skies so beautiful. To know you was a gift and a true pleasure...
I never had a chance to meet you at the gym... Now when I go... I'll think of you..

With deepest regrets for your loss Cheryl of your son, and to the rest of your family and friends on this tragic loss. Our son has battled addiction for 7 years, and is 9 months clean, but that is a battle he has to fight every day for the rest of his life. Our daughter and son in law work in Akron with addiction, and the loss of our youth is something no one should have to live with. We, as anyone else who has NOT had to deal with what you are now dealing with, have no idea what you are feeling and going thru at this time. The Devil that is addiction tries to grasp anyone, and his grip is firm. I have tried to accept that perhaps God is the one who has seen enough suffering, not allowing the Devil to win. You are not alone in this loss, and may the Lord comfort you as much as you will allow him to. Stay Strong, and Prayers for you to have peace.

You don't know me but, Jordan's obituary was posted on my daughter's friend's fb. I am the mom and mother in law of 2 recovering addicts. My best friend has 3 children suffering with addiction. Addiction is a part of our every breathing moment. Please accept my sincerest condolences and prayers for the loss of your loved one Jordan. I would also like to thank you for you honesty. Your son's life was important. He gave love and he received love. My daughter's friend's post has opened an honest discussion on addiction. How wonderful is that. Even in death, your son's life is teaching and helping other people. May God comfort you all.

I am so sorry for the loss of your son, brother friend. I am so sorry that I diction stole his life from him and from you. It is an awful thing. I have two sons about his age, and they are struggling with addiction also. That's the worst thing to have to deal with. You just never know what's around the corner, what will happen next. And you pray and you pray and you pray. God hears the prayers. But all of us have free will. And addiction sometimes wins out. Oh how I hate drugs and alcohol. I know you don't know me, but my heart is broken for you and I'm crying for you and for this young man's life that was snuffed out too soon. What you wrote in the obituary is beautiful and very brave of you and I do hope that it helps many people! I hope to share it with my sons and I hope it impacts them hugely. I hope and pray for you all that you will run to God, not away from Him. He is your refuge and strength and your protector and your provider. He loves you all, with an everlasting love. I pray that he will give you rest, peace, and comfort as you say goodbye to your loved one and in the days and years ahead. God bless you. ❤️🙏🏻
