I was a student at Holy Name of Jesus school from 3rd to 7th grade. I remember making my 1st communion there and Father Ronik was there. Between classes when recess came Father Ronik would sometimes come out and talk with the kids and he was such a towering figure, when he shook your hand with those huge hands it was an awesome event. He was a true friend. I came back to the area for a relative funeral and he remembered me. I was just thinking of him a few days ago and happened across this when looking up a friends obituary. I'm so sorry to see he is passed but I know he was a truly blessed man and is with the Lord in heaven who he served so well on earth.

To the Family of Father Ronik, May he rest in Peace, I had him as an asst. pastor when I attended Holy Name of Jesus School in the middle 1960's I will forever remember his passionate sermons. He was one of a kind priest. The last time I spoke to him was for a reunion of our 8th grade class. We graduated in 1969. It was held at club merry-go-round at Cherol's Market on salt springs rd. May he rest in God's arms. Sincerely Jerry Chizmar

Monsignor and I worked together in the spiritual care of the residents of Humility House. He was wonderful to work with; eager to celebrate Mass for the residents or administer the Sacrament of Annointing when a resident was dying. I always looked forward to seeing him when I would go back to Humility House to visit. I came home from Korea for the summer and was up to visit at Humility House House. that was the last time I saw Monsignor Ronik. I am happy that I am back again from Korea for the winter vacation so that I may attend his funeral. My condolensces and prayers to his family and friends.
