Please accept my deepest sympathy for your family’s loss. The Bible has proven to be the best source of encouragement at such a difficult time. At Isaiah 25:8, God makes this wonderful promise to swallow up death forever. Such tragic occurrences, as your stillborn infant, Liam, are the result of human imperfection-not of divine punishment. The Bible gives us hope at Isaiah 65:20, 23 where it explains that under God’s Kingdom miscarriages and stillbirths will not occur. I sincerely hope that these scriptures will bring your family much comfort and hope in this time of distress.
