We both want to express our sincere condolences.
We both so admired Gene & always loved hearing his melodic voice as he did readings at Mass at St. Joseph's.
In Reading his obituary, We were awed by all of his amazing work & volunteerism! He will be sadly missed. It was our privilege to have known him.
May God be with all of you. 🙏

Sorry for everyones loss here. I still remember the good times at Grandpa & Grandmas house & vacations to MN. And Uncle Gene was always a presence. Excellent speaker/voice that I can still recall from childhood.

Aunt Barb Sandi Greg - take care!
With respect, Mark

Our deepest sympathy to your entire family.....a contribution in Gene's memory has been made to the Canfield Operation Blessing...I always loved Gene's soft, pleasant voice and his sense of humor, I can still hear him saying "this is WBYS, Canton, Illinois"....as kids, I idolized my "big brother".....we will miss him....he's in a better place now.....

Aunt Barb, Sandy & Greg - I am very saddened by the passing of Uncle Gene. I know it's been many years, but I still have happy memories of him. Some still make me laugh. My heart is with you, and I know my dad and my aunt will miss him much as well. Thoughts and prayers - robin
