Dear Anne,
So sorry to read of your father's passing. I only knew him as the friendly produce man from the Poland Giant Eagle and from his short stint working for the transport organization bringing patients to St E's rehab for therapy. He was a great talker and loved to talk about you. You are the apple of his eye! My sympathy to you for your loss, but know that your dad was so proud of you. Treasure your memories and live your life as he would want you to do. Be well.

Dearest Gulfo family,
My heart is so saddened by your loss and I am sure you will miss your father and brother without limits. However, may it comfort you knowing I have precious memories of our young childhood days as neighbors when "Gup" was my bestest little buddy as we sat on my front porch ! I looked at some very old pictures of us and tears came into my eyes as it seemed like "yesterday" instead of "yesteryear"!
God will bring us all together again when our time is meant to be. I also know my brother, Dick, will be embracing "Gup" on the golf course in heaven!
May the Lord embrace you with warm memories and thoughts as you reflect upon Eugene's time in our lives.

My dear friend, Geno... You were a great friend to me at Bloomin' Crazy. I was always glad to see you at the shop because you always made me laugh, and laugh, and laugh. The best times delivering; were when I made deliveries with you! I will see you again, my dear friend...

An Irish Funeral Prayer

Death is nothing at all.
It does not count.
I have only slipped away into the next room.
Everything remains as it was.
The old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no sorrow in your tone.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effort
Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was.
There is unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well. Nothing is hurt; nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as it was before.
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting, when we meet again
