Dear Carl, Diane, and family,
What a remarkable person your Dad (father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather) was! You know from when I first met him here at St. Joe's and from our numerous visits, how much I enjoyed our conversations and his interesting stories. The tribute in the Vindicator truly captured his life and personality. It is wonderfully written! We will all miss his quick wit and presence but as you so beautifully wrote: "his life certainly brought happiness and joy to those that knew him."

My Dear Carl,
I do not know if you will remember me, but I want to offer you my sincerest sympathy on the loss of your dad. I know how much he meant to you. We worked together at YOH.....and yes....my husband's name was changed from Fossaceca! I lost my mom 16 months ago so I know how hard it will be. Just keep talking to him every day as I and my brother do every day to my mom. My prayers are with you and Diane and the children. Your dad is at peace and not suffering. God bless you all. I have many fond memories. Marilyn

Please accept my condolences for the passing of your dear loved one. When someone we love dies, the heartache and grief can be great. I hope that you can be comforted knowing that God cares for you and sees your pain. (1 Peter 5:7) "He is close to the brokenhearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) May you find comfort and relief during this grievous time, as you cherish the precious memories of Carl.
