Wanda J. Migletz

POLAND - Wanda J. Migletz, 81, formerly of Canfield, passed away peacefully, Sunday evening, May 7, 2023, at Hampton Woods Nursing Center.

Wanda was born July 16, 1941, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Ceylon and Madge Sport Clark, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a graduate of Wilson High School and worked as a supervisor with the federal government while raising and caring for her family. Wanda retired in 2006 after 31 years of service.

Wanda enjoyed playing slot machines, reading, cooking and baking. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory her three daughters, Janine Canton (Fred Creighton) of Russell, OH, Kelly (Bob) McGuire of Poland and Stephanie Migletz (fiancé Jim) of Campbell; three grandchildren, Courtney Ambrose (Rob Hundt), Dagny Canton and Miles Canton; a great grandson, Henry and many extended family members.

Wanda will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Three sisters, Nancy Evans, Olga Huebner and Paula Snyder preceded Wanda in death.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of Wanda’s life from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Kinnick Funeral Home 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where a service will be held at 6 p.m.
