Paul Raymond Baker

AUSTINTOWN - Paul Raymond Baker, 74, passed away early Thursday morning, Nov. 7, 2019, at Briarfield Manor.

Paul was born May 12, 1945, in Youngstown, and lived his life in this area.

He attended St. Edward Grade School and graduated from The Rayen School as well as trade school.

Mr. Baker served in the U.S. Army during the early 1970s where he was an accomplished marksman, and served later on in the Army Reserves.

Paul worked as a printer with the Youngstown Vindicator for 55 years.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Paul liked football, rock’n’roll, and one of his favorite things to do was to take a refreshing nap.

Paul leaves a sister, Janet Carchetti of Cincinnati, and a brother, Joseph Baker of Warren.

There are no local calling hours or services. Interment and services with military honors will take place at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman at a date to be determined (check back for date and time).

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
