YOUNGSTOWN - Nancy Carol Roth, 84, of the city’s West Side, passed away peacefully early Monday afternoon, Nov. 2, 2020, at Omni Manor in Youngstown.
Nancy was born Aug. 3, 1936, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late William Carl Reese and Marguerite Evelyn Currie Reese, and lived her life in this area.
Mrs. Roth was a homemaker who dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family.
Nancy enjoyed animals, especially her cats, and squirrels and birds. She also loved reading and singing, and she truly enjoyed the time she spent with her large family.
She leaves three sons, John William Clingerman of Tucson, Ariz., Bob (Amy) Roth of Canfield, and Christopher (Michelle) Roth of Youngstown; three daughters, Susan C. Clingerman of Seattle, Deborah M. (Frank) Woloschak of Phoenix, and Lisa (Ken) Koval of North Jackson; 12 grandchildren, Michael, Stephen, Nicholas, Matthew, Thomas, Kathleen, Brooklyn, David, Timothy, Frankie, Alyssa, and Jacob; and many great-grandchildren.
Nancy’s husband of nearly 37 years, Bob Roth, whom she married May 17, 1969, passed away March 16, 2006. Besides her husband, a son, Thomas D. Clingerman, and two granddaughters, Katie and Carolyn, are deceased.
Private family services are to be held Friday, Nov. 6, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, and committal will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Boardman, where Nancy will be laid to rest next to her husband. Please keep Nancy and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
