Nancy J. Penezich

YOUNGSTOWN - Nancy J. Penezich, 80, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, April 8, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital in Youngstown with her family by her side.

Nancy was born June 25, 1938, in Youngstown, and was a daughter of the late Malcomb and Jean Lindsay Davenport. She was a 1956 graduate of Struthers High School and lived her life in this area.

Mrs. Penezich was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker who also worked outside the home for various companies doing office work.

She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and feeding animals near her home. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Nancy leaves her husband of 52 years, David T. Penezich, whom she married March 11, 1967; three children, Jean Ellen (Richard) Evans of Youngstown, Nancy (Tim) Caroline of Mineral Ridge, and David T. Jr. (Shirley) Penezich of Salem; two brothers, Donald Davenport of Florida and Hugh Davenport of Canfield; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A son, Kenneth Randall McIntire; a sister, Joan Danks; and two brothers, Robert and James Richard Davenport, are deceased.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.

Committal services will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown at a later date.
