YOUNGSTOWN - Marlane Puskas-Joyce, 70, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, September 30, 2023, while visiting her daughter in Florida.

Marlane was born January 31, 1953, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Milan Puskas and Madeline Kollar Puskas and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1971 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and worked as a social worker with Mahoning County Jobs and Family Services in the welfare office for over 40 years, a position she truly enjoyed.

Marlane was a member of St. Christine Church.

She enjoyed traveling and supporting local bands, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Marlane leaves to forever cherish her memory her son, Denny Lee Joyce of Youngstown; her daughter, Tara Marie Joyce of Sanford, FL., and her former husband, Dennis P. Joyce of Youngstown.

Besides her parents, a brother, Paul Puskas preceded Marlane in death.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a grave side committal service at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Resurrection Cemetery 300 N. Raccoon Rd., Austintown.
