POLAND - Debra L. Gasper, 71, passed away peacefully, Saturday evening, October 21, 2023, at Maplecrest Nursing Home following a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Debra was born February 3, 1952, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late James P. and Bernadine (Mentges) Cunningham, and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a 1970 graduate of Chaney High School and in her younger days, Debbie worked at Lustig’s Shoe Store and City Printing before dedicating her adult life to raising and caring for her family.
Mrs. Gasper was a member of St. Christine Church.
Debbie leaves to forever cherish her memory, her husband of 52 years, Randall Gasper, whom she married January 26, 1972; her daughter, Sarah Gasper (Dan Chorba) of Boardman; her son, James Gasper (Jen Kerr) of Boardman; two sisters, Sharon (Andrew) Hallochak of Farmington Hills, Mich and Sande (Joe) Miller of Austintown and many extended family members.
Debbie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Debbie was preceded in death by her mother and father in law, Frank and Marjorie Gasper and her brother-in-law, Jeffrey Gasper.
Per Debbie’s request there are no calling hours or services.
