CANFIELD - Debra L. Della Penna, 63, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 29, 2016, at her home.

Debra was born June 21, 1953, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Helen Koshar Wood, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a graduate of Ursuline High School and worked at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown in the cardiac lab.

Her husband, James H. Della Penna, whom she married Aug. 18, 1973, passed away Nov. 11, 1986.

Debra is survived by two daughters, Lynane M. Della Penna of Roseville, Calif. and Kristeen L. Pecchia of Boardman; and four grandchildren, Vincent, Marissa, Sofia, and James.

There were no calling hours. Private committal services took place at Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown, where Debra was laid to rest next to her husband.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
