GIRARD - Charleen M. Bond, 69, passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2021, at Hospice House following a brief illness.
Charleen was born Dec. 14, 1951, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Frank Romane and Josephine Tulipano Bernard, and was a lifelong area resident.
She worked for Super 8 Motel in housekeeping for many years.
Charleen was of the Catholic faith.
She greatly enjoyed attending auctions and visiting car shows. Charleen also enjoyed collecting things and watching movies, and most of all, she enjoyed the time she spent with her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, James (Alysia) Bond of Boardman; eight grandchildren, Kayli, Jayden, Maddex, Micah, Kelsea, Aaidan, Keeley, and Tyler; her sister, Nina Romane of Austintown; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members; and many friends.
Charleen will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, a sister, Tonina Pallone, preceded Charleen in death.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 222 S. State St., Girard, where a funeral service will take place at 7 p.m.
Private interment will take place on Friday, Sept. 10, at Belmont Park Cemetery in Liberty Township.
In lieu of flowers, Charleen’s family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help her family with final expenses.
