YOUNGSTOWN - Carol Cronk, 84, of the city’s west side, passed away late Monday evening, Nov. 12, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
Carol was born Jan. 4, 1934, in Marietta, a daughter of the late Guy and Bertha Porter, and she lived most of her life in this area.
Carol was a homemaker who dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family.
She leaves two sons, Larry (Melanie) Cronk of Youngstown and Gary Cronk of Youngstown; three grandchildren, Tara (Carl) Fisher, Tony (Courtney) Whitaker, and Bonnie Cronk; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Fisher, Bella Fisher, and Allie Fisher; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Cronk of Liberty Township; and a sister, Barbara Spicer of Austintown.
Mrs. Cronk’s husband, William C. Cronk, whom she married in 1949, passed away March 16, 2009. Besides her husband, two sons, James “Bo” Cronk and William Cronk; a daughter, Brenda Cronk; a grandson, Robert; three brothers, Harold, Gary, and Donny Porter; and three sisters, Joretta Stow, Eleanor Cronk, and Linda Kennedy, are also deceased.
Family and friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Saturday Nov. 17, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where funeral services will take place at 1:30 p.m.
Interment will be at Brunstetter’s Cemetery in Austintown.
