AUSTINTOWN - Anna M. Hunt, 98, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, March 4, 2019, at Humility House.
Anna was born May 8, 1920, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John C. and Mary Mazur Foust, and was a lifelong area resident.
She worked in housekeeping at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Belmont Avenue in Youngstown for many years in addition to being a homemaker who dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family.
Anna was an avid bowler and loved playing cards with her club friends, and she truly enjoyed the time she spent with her large family.
She was a member of Christian Assembly of Youngstown.
Anna leaves to cherish her memory three sons, Claude C. Hunt III, with whom she made her home, James E. (Dori) Hunt of Austintown, and Pastor Jerry L. (Keri) Hunt of Boardman; a daughter-in-law, Gail Hunt of Youngstown; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Anna will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude C. Hunt Jr.; four children, Mabel Palo, Jeffrey Lynn Hunt, Judi Bagdassarian, and Claudia Marie Hunt; a daughter-in-law, Marcia Hunt; two brothers, John C. Foust Jr. and James Foust; and two sisters, Genevieve Coulter and Kathleen Thomas.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
Family and friends may also call from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 8, at the funeral home, where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
