Angeline L. Revetti Obituary

AUSTINTOWN - Angeline L. “Angie” Revetti, 96, formerly of Youngstown’s west side, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, April 16, 2019, at Briarfield Manor after a long and fulfilling life.

Angie was born Oct. 14, 1922, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Fedele and Concetta Schiavone Schiavone, and was a 1942 graduate of The Rayen School.

In her younger years, Angie was employed in the offices of U.S. Steel at the McDonald Works, prior to having children. Years later, she worked at Kmart in Austintown for 13 years, retiring in the early 1980s.

She married Clement A. Revetti Sr. on April 24, 1948, and was happily married to him for 57 years.

Angie was a near lifelong resident of Youngstown and lived a loving and active life. She was a member of St. Brendan Church and was a longtime member of the church choir and of the church’s Altar & Rosary Society. Angie was also a member of the St. Christine Senior Citizens, was a founding member of the Fraternal Order Eagles Aerie No. 3298 in Austintown, was a longtime member of the ITAM Post No. 3 in Youngstown, and was a volunteer with the American Red Cross. Most recently, Angie became a member of St. Michael Church in Canfield.

Mrs. Revetti truly embraced life and enjoyed sharing it with family and friends. Most of all, she loved her family and her baking, two things that were always intertwined.

Angie will be greatly missed by her two children, Atty. Clement A. Revetti Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Marianne (Edward) Kay of Canfield; two grandsons, Jason (Kendra) Kay of Columbus and Bryan (Natalee) Kay of Canfield; and two great-grandsons, Collin and Jonathan Kay.

Her beloved husband, Clement A. Revetti Sr., passed away June 6, 2005. Three sisters, Mary Oleksiuk, Jayne DiRienzo, and Helen Swetonic, and a brother, Christy Schiavone, are also deceased.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, April 22, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.

Funeral services will begin at 10:15 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, at the funeral home, and will continue with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Church in Canfield, with Rev. Terry Hazel officiating.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, where Angie will be laid to rest next to her husband.
