LOWELLVILLE - William F. Porada, Jr., passed away Friday afternoon, August 9, 2024, in the comfort of his home.

William who was affectionately known as Bill was born May 12, 1954, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a son of  William F. Porada Sr., and Mary Ruth Porada and was a lifelong area resident.

He was a 1972 graduate of Laurel High School and worked various jobs throughout his lifetime. More recently, Bill worked for Vallourec Star Steel for over 20 years before retiring in 2019.

Bill was a man of many passions. He enjoyed the thrill of hunting, the adventure of chasing Bigfoot, and the freedom of riding his motorcycle on open roads. These pursuits reflected his love for the outdoors and his ever-curious spirit.

Bill is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kathi Lindsay Porada whom he married August 22, 1998; his father, William Porada Sr.; five children, Bill (Chrissie) Porada, Tim (Jill) Porada, Angie (Joe) Guthrie, TJ Repp and Joe (Izalene) Repp; 14 grandchildren, Alyssa (Brett), Aaron, Lexi, Mason, Nash, Hunter, Heidi, Leila, Cooper, Marlee, Jackson, Anthony (Haylee) Kaylee, and Brian (Stephanie); 12 great grandchildren, Camden, Enzo, Kade, Evelynn, Everhett, Dakota Jo, Eliana, Kathaleen, Daquan, Isaiah, Aria and Ira; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Repp; a brother, Bob (Eilene) Porada; two sisters, Cindy (Allen) Campbell and Jackie Porada and many extended family members.

His mother, Mary Ruth Porada is deceased.

In keeping with Bill's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. The family finds comfort in knowing that he is at peace, surrounded by the memories and love of those who cherished him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
