Obituary

GIRARD - Vivian Rose Novello, 89, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015, at Hospice House following a brief illness.

Vivian was born Dec. 10, 1925, in McKees Rocks, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Maude Rogers Vaughn, and came to this area as a child.

Mrs. Novello worked as a molder at Packard Electric at the No. 12 plant for 32 years, retiring in 1982.

She was a member of the former St. Rocco Church in Liberty Township.

Vivian will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her husband, Andy Novello, whom she married July 14, 1945, passed away Nov. 10, 1994.

Vivian leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Cynthia Barb of Canfield; a son, Daniel (Terilynn) Novello of Girard; three grandchildren, Daniel (Karyssa) Novello Jr., Ronni Renee Barb-Pakula (Mark), and Nicholas Novello; three step-grandchildren, Joelene Black, Sharlene Barb, and Gus Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Daniel III and Gabriella.

Besides her husband, three brothers, Floyd, James, and Raymond Vaughn; three sisters, Laura Pignanelli, Thelma Scirocco, and Ruth Plumer; a son-in-law, Ronald Barb; and two grandchildren, Kelli Lynn Rex and Jeffrey Daniel Novello, preceded her in death.

Family and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., FRIDAY, Sept. 25, at Kinnick Funeral Home, McClurkin Memorial Chapel, 222 S. State St., Girard.

Family and friends may also call from 10 to 11 a.m., SATURDAY (9/26) at the funeral home, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m.

Vivian will be laid to rest next to her husband at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.

Vivian's family would like to thank the staff of Vista Care Center in Boardman, and the staff of Hospice House, for the kindness shown and care given to Mrs. Novello during her illness.
