Toni Marie Saccomen

YOUNGSTOWN — Toni Marie Saccomen, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, at the age of 63. Born April 3, 1962, to the late James and Margaret (Burley) Veneroso, Toni lived a life of love, resilience, and unwavering strength.

Toni graduated from Ursuline High School in 1980. She dedicated 30 years of her life to the Mahoning County Child Support Agency before retiring in October 2025.

Toni married the love of her life, JR, on Aug. 15, 1985. During their 40 years of marriage, they created an unbreakable bond that served as a foundation for their family. Together, they raised two beautiful daughters. In 2010, Toni and JR began the rewarding role of fostering. This led them to adopting five children who were the light of her life.

An avid sports fan, Toni loved watching the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Browns. You could always find her on the sideline of her kids’ games cheering them on.

Toni leaves to forever cherish her memory her best friend and husband, JR Saccomen; her seven children, Megan Saccomen (Kayla Gardner), Brittany Saccomen (Mike), Averylynn, Kevin, Jayden, Mia and Jacob Saccomen; two brothers, Jim (Maryann) Veneroso and Joe Veneroso (Christina Stanko); two nieces, Adrianna (Jacob) Zinni and Ashley (David) Crawford; her godmother, Aunt Kay (Patten); Richard Stanton, who she had guardianship of; and many extended family members and friends who were like family to her. Her loyal canine companion, Rudy, will miss her deeply as well.

Family and friends may gather for a celebration of Toni’s life from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, 2026, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where a service will be held at 4 p.m.

Entombment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Austintown.
