Emblem

Timothy C. Myers, 75, of McDonald, passed away peacefully July 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Tim was born February 25, 1951, in Youngstown, a son of the late Fred and Kathryn Myers. He graduated from McDonald High School and worked for Packard Electric for over 35 years. Tim was a proud Marine Corps veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He was a lifelong resident of McDonald and an avid supporter of Blue Devil athletic teams.

Tim will be remembered as a loving, devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. His quick-witted sense of humor, willingness to do anything for anyone at any time, and fierce love for his family defined him. He coached his son in Little League for years and later became the biggest supporter of his grandchildren at all of their sporting events. Despite his limited mobility, he never missed a football game, baseball game, or track meet and loved to tell everyone about their achievements.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Patricia Myers, whom he married July 14, 1972; children, Timothy P. (Luci) Myers of Mineral Ridge and Jody (Brian) Klase of McDonald; grandchildren, who were his pride and joy, Sophie Klase, Aaron Myers, Carson Klase, and grand dog, Willow; sister, Kathy Myers of McDonald; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his sisters, June Stevens, Ethel Coles, Judith Myers, Sandra Myers, and Peg Altaffer; and brothers, Fred and Ted Myers.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Akeso Hospice for their amazing, kind, and compassionate care.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2026, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 222 S. State St. Girard.
