CANFIELD - Thomas H. Paolucci, passed away early Saturday morning, March 25, 2017, his 74th birthday, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Thomas was born March 25, 1943, in Youngstown, a son of the late Herman and Antoinette "Toots" Guzzo Paolucci, and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Paolucci was raised in Hubbard and was a 1961 graduate of Hubbard High School. For the past 25 years, he was the owner and operator, along with his sons, of The Carpet Shop on South Four Mile Run Road in Austintown.

Tom enjoyed four-wheeling and working in his yard.

Tom leaves his wife of 53 years, Betty First Paolucci, whom he married Feb. 1, 1964; two sons, Brian (Lori) Paolucci of Austintown and John (Stephanie) Paolucci of Canfield; and five grandchildren, Jonathan, Kevin (Kayla), Raquel, Lauren, and Nicholas Paolucci.

Two brothers, James and John Paolucci, are deceased.

Private calling hours and funeral services have been held. Interment was at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Austintown.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
