BOARDMAN - Terry R. Black, 71, passed away Wednesday evening, June 2, 2021, at Windsor House of Canfield following a brief illness.

Terry was born March 16, 1950, in New Castle, Pa., and was a son of the late Robert and Esther Furlong Black. He graduated from New Wilmington High School in Pennsylvania in 1968, and came to this area about 20 years ago.

Mr. Black earned a bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and worked as a manager of various businesses in Western Pennsylvania and Northeast Ohio.

Terry enjoyed YSU football games and Mount Union College basketball games, and he loved spending time with his great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Terry leaves his sister, Susan (Frank) Tiratto of Rootstown; his brother, Randy (Nicolina) Black of Lowellville; two nieces; three nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Per Terry's wishes, there will be no public calling hours or services. Please keep Terry and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
