Obituary

YOUNGSTOWN - Teodor Wych, 93, of the city's west side, passed away early Monday morning, Oct. 19, 2015, at Briarfield at Ashley Place in Austintown, following a brief illness.

Teodor was born May 3, 1922, in Russia, and came to America in 1950, settling in Youngstown in 1952.

He worked for 30 years for Youngstown Sheet & Tube at the Brier Hill Works, retiring in 1982 when the mill closed.

Mr. Wych was of the Orthodox faith, and was a former member of Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church. He enjoyed woodworking.

Teodor's wife, Anastasia Vihozovich Wych, whom he married in 1945, passed away March 5, 2013.

He leaves two daughters, Ann Nittoli of Youngstown and Zena (Joe) Grzywna of Philadelphia, Pa.; four grandchildren, Pete Nittoli, Jerilyn Nittoli Cromartie, Sarah Grzywna Lewandoski, and Laura Grzywna; seven great-grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters in Russia.

Besides his wife, two stillborn daughters are deceased.

Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Belmont Park Cemetery in Liberty Township, where Teodore will be laid to rest next to his wife.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Wych's name to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
