AUSTINTOWN - Steven J. Bagnoli, 58, passed away late Friday evening, Nov. 4, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, following a brief illness.
Steven, who was affectionately known as "Bags," was born Oct. 16, 1958, in Youngstown, a son of Alex and Theresa Popio Bagnoli, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a 1977 graduate of Chaney High School and had worked for Bagnoli Excavating and Patella Carpet & Tile. Most recently, he worked as an installer for Angelillies Flooring.
Steve was a member of Carpenters Union Local No. 373 in Cleveland, and he bowled at Wedgewood Lanes. He enjoyed drawing, acrylic and oil painting, fishing, and being outdoors.
Steve leaves two daughters, Gia Bagnoli (Daniel Brown) of Canfield and Alyssa Webb of Durango, Colo.; his mother, Theresa DeCapua of Boardman; his father, Alex (Shirley) Bagnoli of Boardman; two sisters, Angela (Anthony) Antronica of Galena and Alexis (Shawn) Devine of Canfield; and his former wife, Sue Bagnoli of Austintown.
A brother, Rick Bagnoli, died May 10, 2016. His stepfather, Angelo DeCapua, died in 1993.
Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 12, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, and are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 1 p.m., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Basilica in Youngstown.
