YOUNGSTOWN - Stephanie Martin, 89, of the city's west side, passed away at her home.

Stephanie, who was known to her family and friends as "Steffy," was born May 1, 1927, in Campbell, a daughter of the late Mike and Mary Suhar Sulak, and was a lifelong area resident.

A homemaker, Steffy enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Austintown.

Stephanie leaves four sisters, Ann Soroka of Campbell, Amelia Parimucha of Youngstown, Pauline Nachim of Youngstown, and Helen (Michael) Esposito of Campbell; and eight nieces and nephews.

A son, Atty. Charles A. Martin, and her former husband, Charles J. Martin Jr., preceded her in death.

Family and friends may call Monday, June 6, from noon to 1 p.m., at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where funeral services will take place at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
