NORTH LIMA – Scott B. Homick, 58, formerly of the city's west side, passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Willow Woods.

Scott was born March 29, 1966, in Youngstown, a son of Edward and Virginia Ellis Homick and was a lifelong area resident.

He was a graduate of Chaney High School and a former member of St. Brendan Church.

Scott enjoyed listening to rock and roll music and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his younger days, Scott enjoyed working on cars.

Scott is survived by his mother, Virginia Homick of Canfield; two brothers, Thomas Homick and Mark Homick both of Austintown; two sisters, Carol Holmes of Canfield and Lynn (Alan) Krut of California; several nieces and nephews and many extended family members.

His father, Edward Homick preceded him in death.

Private family services will be held Monday at Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.

Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
