YOUNGSTOWN - Patricia A. Sudzina, 70, of the city's west side, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes, Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017, at her home.

Patricia was born June 22, 1947, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John M. and Agnes Koval Sudzina, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1965 graduate of Chaney High School, and worked at Youngstown State University as an administrative assistant in the Biology Department for the past 21 years. Previously, Pat had worked for the P&LE Railroad for 27 years.

Patty was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Holy Name of Jesus Church in Youngstown.

Shopping was her passion, and she also enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Patricia leaves her brother, John R. (Estelle A.) Sudzina of Youngstown; a niece, Brie Sudzina of Youngstown; and a nephew.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, Sept. 18, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd. in Youngstown, where funeral services will take place at 6 p.m., with Rev. John Jerek officiating.
