Obituary

HUBBARD - Pamela J. Ferguson, 71, a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and treasured friend, passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, June 26, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Pamela was born July 14, 1953, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Alton Curry Jr., and Marilyn Leeper Curry and was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Poland Seminary High School and dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband, Ralph T. Ferguson III, with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and partnership. They were married July 13, 1974 — a total of 50 years, 11 months and 13 days — a bond built on deep commitment and enduring affection. Together, they built a strong and beautiful family that remained the center of her world.

She is also survived by her two children, Ralph T. (Angie) Ferguson IV of Cincinnati and Kami (Justin) Rydarowicz of Hubbard; and her adored grandchildren, Tyler (Kayla) Hodge, Lawrence "Andrew" Deegan  Alexis Ferguson, Rylee Jean Deegan and Cassidy Jean Ferguson, each of whom brought her endless joy

Pamela's memory will also be cherished by her brothers, Richard (Sandy) Curry and James (Nancy) Curry; along with several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Hassey.

Pam enjoyed visiting beaches, lighthouses, playing bingo and slot machines, but what she treasured most was spending time with her family and friends. Known for her warmth, kindness, steady presence and gentle spirit, Pamela touched countless lives. Whether offering a word of encouragement, a warm hug or simply her time and attention, she made those around her feel seen, valued and loved.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever in our hearts.

CANCER SUCKS — but Pamela faced it with grace, strength and unwavering resolve. Her love and light left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

A celebration of Pam's life will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 3410 Wilmington Road, New Castle, PA 16105, or to Akeso Hospice, 6600 Summit Drive, Canfield, OH 44406.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
