Nanette E. Nemes

YOUNGSTOWN - Nanette E. Nemes, 63, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Boardman with her family by her side.

Nanette was born June 19, 1962, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Milton Nicholson and Peggy Perine Nicholson, and lived in the Youngstown area for most of her life.

She was a 1980 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and later earned a degree in secretarial studies from ITT Technical College. Nanette went on to work for many years in the financial aid office at ITT Technical College.

Nanette found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading and, most of all, spending cherished time with her family. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Nanette is survived by her daughter, Kelly Nemes of Youngstown; her siblings, Ricky (Toni) Nicholson of North Carolina, Joyce Nicholson of Youngstown and Jeanette Davis of Austintown; six half-siblings; many nieces and nephews; and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, Nanette was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Harold Davis Jr.

Per Nanette’s request, there will be no calling hours or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, Youngstown.
