POLAND - Nancyann M. Georgeoff, 90, formerly of Ferdinand Road in Austintown, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, Oct. 19, 2025,

Nancyann was born Dec. 6, 1934, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late James and Constance Balestra Altiere and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a graduate of Chaney High School and furthered her education at Youngstown State University and the Trumbull Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.

Nancy dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked as a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital and later served as Director of Nursing at a skilled nursing facility. The role she took the greatest pride in, however, was as an instructor at the Choffin School of Practical Nursing, where she inspired and mentored countless students—many of whom continue to serve in the nursing profession today.

Nancy leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Dr. Richard M. (Ellen) Georgeoff Jr. of Powell and Michael R. (Aerielle) Georgeoff of Florida; her beloved grandchildren, Richard Georgeoff III, Danielle Georgeoff, Shayne Georgeoff, Paije Georgeoff, and Camren Georgeoff; her sister, Rosemarie Wiesner; her brother, James Altiere; and many extended family members and friends.

Her husband of 64 years, Richard M. Georgeoff, whom she married June 28, 1958, died Nov. 16, 2022.

Nancy will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy came from her family. Her gentle spirit, caring heart, and the love she shared will live on in the lives of those who were blessed to know her.
