YOUNGSTOWN - Nancy L. Terlecki Shepherd, 91, of the city's west side, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Omni Manor.

Nancy was born July 14, 1932, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Michael Terlecki and Madeline Snyder Terlecki and lived in the area for most of her life.

A proud graduate of Chaney High School, Nancy dedicated her life to the love and care of her family. Her nurturing spirit and boundless devotion were the cornerstones of her family's foundation.

Nancy found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in crocheting beautiful creations and immersing herself in word search puzzles. These hobbies brought her immense satisfaction and kept her mind sharp and creative.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Kathleen J. Kent of Youngstown; six grandchildren, Tommy Hacon, Jennifer Spahn, Christopher Kent, Tricia George Kennedy, Jamie Jacobs and David Mahadiviah; six great grandchildren; a brother, James (Dorothy) Terlecki of Youngstown; a sister-in-law, Karen Terlecki of Youngstown, a son-in-law, Tom Hacon of Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul H. Shepherd; her three daughters, Debbie Hacon, Tammy Myers, and Cheryl A. Mahadaviah; her granddaughter, Kristen Grant; her brother, Raymond Terlecki, and a son-in-law, Larry Kent.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside committal service at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Boardman.
