NORTH LIMA – Michael P. Maruskin, 70, formerly of Dover Road in Youngstown, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2018, at Ivy Woods Manor.

Michael was born March 5, 1948, in Youngstown, a son of the late Michael J. and Anne Olexa Maruskin, and was a lifelong Mahoning Valley resident.

He was a graduate of Boardman High School.

Michael was an avid golfer, and played in various leagues throughout the area.

His wife, Melanie Patrick Maruskin, passed away May 22, 2006.

Mr. Maruskin leaves a brother, James (Piper) Maruskin of Morrison, Colo., and his godmother, Mary Faret of Boardman.

Besides his wife, a brother, Robert Maruskin, is deceased.

All are invited to attend a Memorial Service celebrating Michael's life on Thursday, Nov. 15, at 11:30 a.m., at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd. Youngstown.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, where Michael will be laid to rest with his wife.
