YOUNGSTOWN - Michael Nagy Jr., 79, of the city's west side, passed away early Tuesday evening, Dec. 8, 2015, at Select Specialty Hospital.

Michael was born July 23, 1936, in Youngstown, a son of the late Michael Sr. and Elizabeth McCrae Nagy, and was a lifelong area resident.

Mr. Nagy was a 1955 graduate of Chaney High School and worked at U.S. Steel for 24 years, where he was a grievance committeeman. He retired in 1979.

Mike was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed bowling and golf.

Michael leaves his sister, Jane Fusco of Youngstown and a nephew, Don Bernhard of Youngstown.

A sister, Patricia Bernhard, preceded him in death.

Per Michael's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Committal services will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown at a later date.
