FORT COLLINS, COLORADO - We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary Darlene Scialdone, 80, who departed this life Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Poudre Valley Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born January 16, 1944, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, to the late Anthony and Delores Acerra. She was a proud graduate of Ursuline High School, Class of 1962, and devoted her life to nurturing and caring for her family.

Mary leaves to forever cherish her memory her husband of 61 years, Samuel D. Scialdone, whom she married June 15, 1963; her four daughters, Michele DeCrescenzo, Rosemary Biggerstaff, Christine Siebers, and Monica Masico all of Colorado; her son, Michael Scialdone of Colorado; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many extended family members.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a  Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at St. Rose Church 48 E. Main St., Girard.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Girard.
