MINERAL RIDGE - Mary Jane Pappalardo, 81, formerly of Austintown, passed away Saturday evening, May 11, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Mary Jane was born October 10, 1942, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Rozzi Pappalardo. Mary lived in Bessemer, Pennsylvania, for several years before returning to the Youngstown area.

She was a 1961 graduate of Mohawk High School in Bessemer and attended Youngstown State University.

She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and cooking.

Mary Jane is survived by her two brothers, Angelo Pappalardo of Warren and Joseph Pappalardo of Warren, and several nieces and nephews.

A brother, Fred Pappalardo, and three sisters, Delores Gasper, Sue Dobos, and Patricia Thurston are deceased.

There are no calling hours. Private services were held at Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
