CANFIELD - Mary E. Novak, 80, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 204, at Windsor House  in New Middletown.

Mary was born August 29, 1943, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Alusik Macala and was a lifelong area resdient.

On May 7, 1966, Mary married  David S. Novak Sr., together, they raised two children, creating a home filled with warmth and love.

Mary was a dedicated wife and mother whose greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. She found pleasure in simple moments, whether it was baking delicious treats, bowling with loved ones, or losing herself in the pages of a good book. Mary also enjoyed attending St. Christine Church.

Known for her selflessness and compassion, Mary was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Mary is survived by her husband, David S. Novak Sr.; her son, David (Jessica) Novak Jr. of Austintown; her daughter, Paula Novak of Austintown and her granddaughter, Lauren Novak of Austintown.

Private services will be held at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield.

Mary's family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association via their website at www.alz.org.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
