AUSTINTOWN – Mary Jane Moss, 81, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, March 13, 2019, at Omni Manor in Youngstown.

Mary Jane was born Sept. 3, 1937, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Ralph and Marie Rome McMahan. She was raised in the city's Brier Hill neighborhood, attended The Rayen School, and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Moss was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling with friends, and she especially enjoyed her annual Cedar Point vacations with her husband.

She leaves three children, Cynthia Moss of Austintown, Thomas E. Jr. (Lori) Moss of Austintown, and Jane Marie Moss of Youngstown; four grandchildren, Amanda, Jenny, Robert, and Megan; five great-grandchildren, Jaylen, Joshua, Jaxson, Anthony, and Lucas; two stepbrothers, Barry and Robert McMahan; and a stepsister, Sherry McMahan.

Mary Jane's husband of 61 years, Thomas E. Moss Sr., whom she married Sept. 26, 1953, passed away Feb. 12, 2015. A daughter, Kelly Johnston, passed away in 2015. A brother, Ralph McMahan Jr, and a sister, Nardene DeDominic, are also deceased.

Per Mary Jane's wishes, there are no calling hours or services.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.

Mary Jane's family thanks the staff with Omni Manor, and the staff of Hospice of the Valley, for the kindness shown and care given to Mrs. Moss and her family during her illness.
