STRUTHERS - Marsha L. Schulick, 74, passed away Friday afternoon, Feb. 12, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, following a brief illness.
Marsha was born April 29, 1941, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Benjamin Marshall Knight and Jeanette Dasen Knight, and was a lifelong area resident.
She attended The Rayen School and was a 1959 graduate of Ursuline High School. She was a homemaker who also worked as a healthcare associate at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Schulick belonged to the Youngstown Rod & Custom Car Club, and she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cross-stitch, and bowling.
Marsha leaves her husband of 56 years, Andrew J. Schulick, whom she married June 18, 1959; a daughter, Shelly (Joe) Mazerik of Austintown; a son, James Schulick of Middleburg, Fla.; four grandchildren, Kayla Mazerik, James Schulick, Kylee Schulick, and Ronny Duvall; a sister, Vicki (Mike) Scahill of Boardman; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Joanne Schulick of Youngstown; several nieces and nephews; and two great-nephews.
A son, Robert Schulick, and two sisters, Patricia Knight and Janet "Butchie" DiPietro, are deceased.
Per Marsha's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.
