YOUNGSTOWN - A memorial service will be held for Marjorie Ann Tomo, 97, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church 1429 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown  with a memorial luncheon to follow.

Marjorie was born February 27, 1924, and passed away January 20, 2022. A private service was held on January 25, 2022,at Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown, with Rev. D. Gary Schreckengost, STS., officiating. Margie was laid to rest at Tod Homestead Cemetery beside her beloved husband, John. Margie and John were married June 17, 1950, at John Hus Lutheran Church and were together for nearly 51 years until John's passing on May 13, 2001.

Mrs. Tomo was a life-long, and very active member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and was named trustee emeritus after serving on the parish council for many years.

Margie leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Debbie (Ernie) Camodeca and Susan (Ted) Perkins; three grandchildren,  Dr. Amy Camodeca, Jennifer (Chas) Doane, and Brian (Janet) Camodeca and three great grandsons, Charlie, Maxwell and Archie Doane.

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, mask protocols will be in effect at all times during the church service.
