AKRON - Marianne Iwaniuk, 57, formerly of Youngstown, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at her home.

Marianne was born Dec. 15, 1959, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Mykola and Marlene Ann Hicklin Iwaniuk.

She was a graduate of Chaney High School, and was a member of Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church in Youngstown.

Marianne enjoyed caring for her cats, and loved to work jigsaw puzzles.

Marianne is survived by two sisters, Marilyn (Charles) Wasko and Kathy (Ken) Sklenar; three brothers, Nicholas (Shannon) Iwaniuk, John Iwaniuk, and Steve (Tina) Iwaniuk; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon, Friday, Sept. 22, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd. in Youngstown.

Funeral services will begin at noon on Friday at the funeral home, and will continue at 12:30 p.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
