YOUNGSTOWN – Margaret L. Span, 73, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Park Center in Boardman following a lengthy illness.

She was born Oct. 1, 1945, in Youngstown, and was raised in Austintown. Margaret was a graduate of Fitch High School and had lived in Las Vegas for 35 years before returning to the Youngstown area.

Mrs. Span was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband John M. Span, whom she married Aug. 10, 1963; two children, John M. Span Jr. and Randy J. Span, each of Youngstown; and a sister.

Margaret was preceded in death by two brothers, Vincent and Patrick.

There are no calling hours or services scheduled.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
