YOUNGSTOWN - Marcia D. Carter, 77, passed away Saturday evening, December 2, 2023, at Windsor House following a lengthy illness.

Marcia was born December 9, 1945, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Veronica Rogenski. She was raised in Youngstown and lived in Escondido, California for 20 years before returning to Youngstown in 2005.

Marcia was a graduate of Chaney High School and in her younger days, she worked at Packard Electric. While in California, Marcia had a successful sales career.

She was very devoted to her family and cared for her mother for over 20 years. Marcia also deeply loved animals and was very fond of her pets.

Marcia leaves to cherish her memory her son, Christopher (Amanda) Carter of Columbiana; three brothers, Richard Rogenski of Hartford, OH, Bernard (Katie) Rogenski of Austintown and James Rogenski of Austintown and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Kinnick Funeral Home 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
