WINTER SPRINGS, FLA. - Lener Raymond Minotti Jr., 70, formerly of Youngstown, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at South Seminole Hospital in Longwood, Florida following a brief illness.

Lener, who was known to all as "Len" or "Lenny," was born June 2, 1946 in Youngstown, a son of Lener Raymond Sr. and Dorothy O. Dubas Minotti, and lived in Florida for the past 30-plus years.

He was a 1964 graduate of Chaney High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Lenny was self-employed, and operated several businesses in Ohio and Florida.

Mr. Minotti enjoyed golfing and fishing.

Len leaves his mother, Dorothy Minotti of Youngstown; a sister, Diane L. "Dee" Hockenberry of Boardman; two nephews, Arlo (Nicole) Brookhart and Jude Hockenberry; a niece, Lily Hockenberry; and a great-niece and great-nephew.

His father; cousins, Anita Regula and Robert Zorio; and Lenny's lifelong friend, Louis Gaudio, are deceased.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where a memorial service celebrating Lenny's life will take place at 5 p.m.

Following the memorial service, there will be a memorial dinner for Lenny's family and friends at Lenny's favorite restaurant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
