YOUNGSTOWN - Kenneth James "Kenny" Gbur, 68, passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, at his home at Canfield Healthcare Center in Cornersburg.

Kenny was born July 1, 1952, in Youngstown, and was a son of the late Martin and Julia Pruss Gbur.

Kenny served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and had fun working as a "carnie" for various traveling carnivals.

Kenny had a special flair for writing long stories by hand, and loved to walk. He also had a passion for music and enjoyed listening to vinyl records. He was a very likeable and knowledgeable person, and was a good conversationalist.

Mr. Gbur leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Valerie Fracul of Noxon, Montana, and several nieces and nephews.

A brother, Raymond, Gbur, preceded him is death.

Due to the current pandemic, there will be no calling hours, and private committal services will take place at a later date at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Lowellville. Please remember Kenny and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
