AUSTINTOWN - Kelly M. Housteau, 53, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 9, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, following an extended illness.

Kelly was born Oct. 28, 1962 in Youngstown, a daughter of Robert and Mildred "Millie" Krotky McDonough, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1981 graduate Ursuline High School, and earned an associate degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University.

Kelly was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Church in Austintown. She had been an active volunteer at one time at the parish school, and she enjoyed cooking, baking, music, and caring for her cats.

Kelly's husband, Charles R. "Chuck" Housteau Jr., whom she married April 19, 1986, passed away Nov. 19, 2010.

Kelly leaves her son, Charles R. "Chuckie" Housteau III (wife, Amanda) of Boardman; her parents, Robert and Millie McDonough of Austintown; and her feline companions, Ruff and Ruby.

Family and friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, March 12, at St. Joseph Church, 4545 New Road, in Austintown, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
