BERLIN CENTER – Karen M. Budd, died Sunday, October 20, 2024, at her home.

Karen was born March 29, 1952, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Henry "Hank" Pavalko and Eleanor Sebest Pavalko. She spent most of her life in the Youngstown area, but she also enjoyed many wonderful years living in Florida.

A proud graduate of Wilson High School, Class of 1970, Karen built a successful career at General Motors in Lordstown, where she worked in various capacities before retiring as an electrician after 30 years of dedicated service.

Karen enjoyed spending time on the computer, playing games and reading.

Karen is survived by her son, Shawn Budd, and his wife, Nicole, of Austintown; her three siblings, Ken (Vicki) Pavalko of Struthers, Bob (Judy) Pavalko of Boardman, and Terry (Janice) Sebest-Horne of Colorado. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, along with many extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their respects on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from noon to 1 p.m. at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown where a memorial service will take place at 1 p.m.
