YOUNGSTOWN - Julie McClain Hall, 54, of the city's west side, passed away peacefully, Thursday, January 23, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.

Julie was born July 5, 1971, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Irvin E. McClain Jr., and Roberta Huff McClain and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1990 graduate of Chaney High School and furthered her education at Choffin Career Center for childcare and hospitality.

Julie was a member of St. Brendan Church. Julie's love of music, especially her admiration for country singer Gary Allan, brought her joy and comfort. She also cherished the beauty of butterflies and the magic of unicorns, symbols of her light-hearted and whimsical nature.

Julie leaves to cherish her memory her two sisters, Donna (George) Berger, and Cindy Viets both of Youngstown; her brother, David (Christina) McClain of Youngstown; a niece; three nephews; a half brother, Robert Taylor (Buzz) of South Carolina and many extended family members.

A celebration of Julie's life will be held at a later date.
